Fishergate Postern Tower will be open over the Bank Holiday Weekend – 29th/30th/31st August 2015 from 10am to 4pm.

Fishergate Postern Tower will be open again for the Heritage Open Weekend – 12th/13th September 2015 from 10am to 4pm.

In addition,  for the first time in living memory (and perhaps ever), TOWER 39  (the corner tower near to FPT) will be open to the public for the Heritage Open Weekend – 12th/13th September 2015 from 10am to 4pm.

Monk Bar A6 QR card

If you have a SmartPhone or a Tablet then look out for the small A6 size QR cards which can be found at strategic Wall-Walk access places around the York’s City Walls Trail. These QR cards are located on the existing large A1 Information Panels at :-

Bootham Bar                            (bottom of the steps)
Monk Bar                                  (under the bar’s arch)
Layerthorpe Bridge                   (bottom of the steps)
Red Tower                                 (on the tower wall)
Walmgate Bar                           (bottom of the steps)
