Fishergate Postern Tower will be open on Saturday 8th October from 10:00am to 4:00pm. (NOTE – 1 day = Saturday ONLY)
If you are visiting York, or a York resident, do come along and visit the 500 year old tower, climb the spiral staircase, sponsor a stone, buy a book or a map and help to support the Friends of York Walls. The Tower will also be open on Saturday 29th October which will be the last opening date in 2016.
For “Illuminating York 2016” FOYW will be organising evening walls walks, entering at Bootham Bar and exit at Monk Bar, on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October ONLY. Adults £2, children free. Watch this space for more details.
