A symbolic flag-waving walk to celebrate St. George, the patron Saint of England, took place today Saturday 23rd April at 10.30am from Fishergate Postern to Walmgate Bar.

John Oxley, The City Archaeologist has kindly offered to show the Friends of York walls around Fishergate Postern Tower on Tuesday 10th May at 6pm. He explains that it may be very dark and dusty, so please come prepared! Hope to see many of you there.
